八坂神社例祭日
今日は戸塚駅駅頭からスタート！
東口ペデストリアンデッキにて行ないました。
その後、事務作業と陳情対応を行ない、夕方には、民主党神奈川第五区総支部の会議に出席しました。
今日は7月14日で、戸塚の三大祭りで歴史ある八坂神社の例祭日です。
お札まきに、町中に出店が建ち並ぶ、とても賑やかなお祭りです。
お札まきの踊りは、江戸時代中期には江戸や大阪で盛んに行われていたそうですが、現在は旧東海道の戸塚宿にだけ残っているとのこと。実物を観るとビックリしますが、男たちが姉さんかぶりにたすきがけの女装をして、境内や町内を踊りながらお札をまき散らします。お札には「正一位八坂神社御守護」と刷られていて、厄除け、疫病よけのお守りだそうです。これを拾い家の戸口や神棚に貼るものです。今年も沢山の方が戸塚に来られて居ました。
